FAQ - Login
Students need to have a valid Student number in order to access Wits-e. Go to https://cle.wits.ac.za to confirm your student number and password is working. The system automatically integrates with the University OSS systems and should recognise your credentials. Remember that the username and password you use to access your student email account and the internet are the same credentials that you'll use to login to Wits-e. If your username and password does not work contact CNS on (011) 717-1717 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are several reasons why you may not be able to log in
1. You recently registered for a class but registration information has not been updated to OSS.
2. The password you have used is incorrect.
3. No user ID/student profile exists in the system
To reset your password contact the CNS Helpdesk on (011) 717-1717 or email email@example.com.
Your new password must be between 8 - 30 characters. Your new password must contain at least 3 different types of characters (i.e. lowercase, uppercase, numbers or special characters).
